On April 18, 2025, Shenzhen Giltbridge Translation Co., Ltd. attended the inaugural "Medical Device Enterprise Document Digital Service Innovation Summit" and the launch of the Medical Device Enterprise Document Digital Service Center in Shanghai. Organized by the Minhang District Translation Association, Shanghai Songjiang University Town Economic Park, Shanghai Tianxin Medical Information Technology Co., Ltd., and the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce, the event united leaders from government, academia, industry associations, and businesses. The summit focused on compliance, digital transformation, and global strategies, fueling innovation and growth in the medical device sector.

The summit began with off with Mr. Xu Jun, co-founder of Shanghai Tianxin Medical, hosting and warmly welcoming attendees. Mr. Wu Shiping, General Manager of Shanghai Songjiang University Town Economic Park, and Mr. Ruan Junbin, Chairman of the Minhang District Translation Association, delivered opening speeches. Mr. Wu highlighted the G60 Songjiang Medical Device Industrial Park’s progress, supportive policies, and vision as a key hub for the industry. Mr. Ruan emphasized the importance of industry collaboration in driving digitalization and global expansion for medical device companies.

The afternoon session explored compliance for international markets and opportunities in Southeast Asia. Mr. Tang Xi, a legal expert and former Director of Legal and Risk Control at Huanling Enterprise Services, shared insights on navigating legal compliance for global expansion, stressing its pivotal role in successful market entry. Ms. Liu Qianyuan, General Manager of JLS Advisory Sdn Bhd and representative of the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce, discussed the thriving Malaysian medical device market and Southeast Asia’s growth potential. She highlighted rising healthcare needs in chronic disease management, equipment upgrades, and digitalization, urging Chinese firms to engage with local governments, associations, and partners to tailor strategies to regional regulations and market dynamics.

Roundtable on Compliance and Global Growth

A dynamic roundtable, moderated by Mr. Ruan Junbin, featured Ms. Zhao Hongyan from Rayence (Medical) Technology Co., Ltd., Mr. Tang Fei from Nanjing Sizhigen Information Technology Co., Ltd., Mr. Zhou Wei from the Minhang District Translation Association, Ms. Liu Qianyuan, and Professor Guo Yi from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics. The group discussed talent development, business needs, and support from academia and associations. Professor Guo stressed the need for stronger university-industry partnerships through customized curricula, internships, and joint research to produce professionals skilled in both technical and regulatory aspects of the industry.

Launch of the Document Digital Service Center

A key moment was the unveiling of the Medical Device Enterprise Document Digital Service Center, officiated by Mr. Wu Yong and Mr. Xu Jun of Shanghai Tianxin Medical. This new platform will drive digitalization by offering services in quality systems, document management, compliance, and digital solutions, supporting medical device companies in achieving excellence.
